Addis Ababa Guided City Tour

Arrival at Bole International Airport. Enat Ethiopia Tours representative greets you and transfers you to your hotel. After some rest, begin exploring Addis Ababa. Start with a visit to a local coffee processor and exporter to learn about Ethiopia’s specialty beans—followed by a tasting session. Visit the National Museum, home of the famous fossil “Lucy,” and the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie. After lunch, drive to Entoto Mountains for panoramic views and visit the Ethnological Museum, housed in Haile Selassie’s former palace. End the day at St. George Cathedral in Piazza. Drive to Yirgalem Coffee birthplace

Drive to Yirgacheffe, one of the world’s most renowned coffee regions. Along the way, pass coffee plantations and cooperatives. Visit local farms and learn about cultivation and processing techniques. Stop at the ancient stelae of Tutu Fela near Dilla. In the afternoon, arrive at Aregash Lodge, nestled in the forest and surrounded by coffee plants. Overnight: Lodge Yirgacheffe coffee beans — handpicked and sun-dried in Ethiopia’s southern highlands.

Spend another day exploring the beautiful coffee-growing landscapes around Yirga Alem and Yirgacheffe. Visit local coffee plantations, seedling nurseries, and cooperatives to learn about traditional coffee cultivation, sustainable farming practices, and the careful process of growing high-quality Arabica coffee. Meet local farmers, discover how coffee plants are nurtured from seedlings to harvest, and gain insight into the role of coffee production in supporting rural communities. Enjoy the region’s lush green landscapes, rich biodiversity, and peaceful countryside while experiencing Ethiopia’s deep-rooted coffee culture. In the afternoon, explore local markets for Ethiopian coffee, souvenirs, and traditional handicrafts. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner featuring authentic Ethiopian cuisine, traditional music, and cultural dance performances.
