Depending on where the gorilla family is located, the walk may be relatively short or may require several hours of hiking through challenging terrain. Every gorilla trek feels different; sometimes you may follow a narrow trail through dense vegetation or hike a steep section of forest until you find the mountain gorillas in the wild. The first sight of a mountain gorilla is difficult to describe, filled with a mix of awe, astonishment & thrill. At this moment, you will encounter a silverback calmly observing the surroundings, a mother caring for her infant, and young playful gorillas climbing, tumbling, and interacting with one another.
