Gondar-Simine Mountain National Park

Take a morning air transfer rom Addis Ababa to Gondar. Upon arrival, meet your driver and guide and continue by road to Simien Mountains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its dramatic escarpments, deep valleys, and spectacular mountain scenery.

After arriving at the park, begin an afternoon hike of approximately 3–4 hours, depending on your arrival time, weather, and trail conditions. Look out for endemic wildlife, including the Gelada monkey, as you enjoy panoramic views of the Ethiopian Highlands.

Sankaber to Geech-Simine Mountain trek

After breakfast, begin your trek from Sankaber to Geech through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Simien Mountains.

Follow spectacular mountain trails along dramatic escarpments, enjoying sweeping views of deep valleys and rugged peaks. Along the way, you may encounter Gelada monkeys and observe the unique highland vegetation.

The trek takes approximately 5–6 hours, depending on your pace and trail conditions. Arrive at Geech and settle into your campsite surrounded by the magnificent mountain scenery.
