Your tour begins with a morning flight from Cape Town to Hoedspruit Airport, gateway to the Greater Kruger region. On arrival you are met and transferred a short distance to Ivory Moon Lodge, an intimate four-star bush lodge on Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate that hosts a maximum of eight guests in private suites with heated plunge pools. After checking in and relaxing, you head out in the afternoon for a sunset game drive in an open 4x4 vehicle through Tshukudu Private Game Reserve, a Big 5 reserve, with a sundowner stop to watch the African sky turn gold. You return to the lodge in the evening for dinner prepared by the lodge chef, surrounded by resident giraffe, zebra, impala, kudu and wildebeest on the estate.

Departing early with a packed breakfast, you spend a full day exploring Kruger National Park, one of Africa's largest and most iconic game reserves, renowned for its dense wildlife populations including the Big 5. Your guide tracks game throughout the day across varied habitats of bushveld, riverine forest and open plains, offering excellent chances of lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino sightings along with a huge variety of plains game and birdlife. You return to Ivory Moon Lodge in the late afternoon, in time to relax before another delicious dinner at the lodge.

After breakfast at the lodge, you set off on a full-day tour of the spectacular Panorama Route, one of South Africa's most scenic drives. Highlights include God's Window, with its sweeping views over the Lowveld escarpment, the fascinating rock formations of Bourke's Luck Potholes carved by the Treur and Blyde Rivers, and the breathtaking Blyde River Canyon, one of the largest green canyons on earth, viewed from the famous Three Rondavels lookout point. You return to Ivory Moon Lodge in the late afternoon for a final dinner before leaving Hoedspruit the next day.

With an early check-out, you depart Ivory Moon Lodge with a packed breakfast and no sunrise game drive today due to the early flight. You are transferred to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival you are met and transferred to A'Zambezi River Lodge, a comfortable four-star property on the banks of the Zambezi River close to the Falls, where you check in and relax. In the late afternoon you join a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River, sipping drinks as the sun sets over the water and watching for hippo, crocodile and elephant along the banks, before dinner is served.

After an early breakfast you depart for a full day exploring Chobe National Park in neighbouring Botswana, famed for having one of the largest concentrations of elephant and buffalo in Africa. The day combines a game drive through the park's woodlands and floodplains with a boat cruise along the Chobe River, offering superb opportunities to view elephant herds, hippo pods, crocodiles and abundant birdlife from the water. Lunch is included during the excursion. You return to A'Zambezi River Lodge in the late afternoon, having crossed into a second country on this memorable day trip.

After breakfast at the lodge, you join a guided two-hour walk along the Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, learning about the geology, history and legends of this UNESCO World Heritage Site from a knowledgeable local guide. Following lunch at leisure, you take to the skies for a 25 to 30 minute scenic flight over the Falls and the Zambezi River, offering a spectacular bird's-eye perspective of the thundering waters and surrounding gorges. The rest of the afternoon is free to relax at the lodge pool or explore Victoria Falls town via the courtesy shuttle, with optional activities such as bungee jumping or white-water rafting available at your own cost.
