Depart on a morning flight from Cape Town to Hoedspruit (Eastgate) Airport, where you are met on arrival and transferred to the luxurious Kapama River Lodge in the Kapama Private Game Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger region and one of South Africa's largest privately owned reserves. After lunch and check-in, relax by the pool before setting out on an afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle in search of the Big 5, with a sundowner stop to enjoy the African bushveld sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner served in the open-air boma or the main dining room, marking the start of an exciting Big 5 safari experience.

An early wake-up call with tea, coffee and pastries precedes a sunrise game drive through the Kapama Private Game Reserve, tracking lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard with an experienced guide and tracker team. Return to the lodge for a full breakfast and enjoy leisure time at the pool or spa during the heat of the day. After lunch, set out again in the late afternoon on a second open-vehicle game drive, including a sundowner stop to watch the sun set over the bush. The day concludes with dinner and a second night at Kapama River Lodge.

After lunch, enjoy your third and final afternoon game drive at Kapama, complete with a sundowner stop amid the bushveld scenery. Dinner is served back at the lodge for your last night in the Kapama Private Game Reserve before heading onward to Victoria Falls.

An early check-out with a packed breakfast starts the day, as there is no sunrise game drive due to the early onward flight. You are transferred from Kapama to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and fly to Victoria Falls, where you are met on arrival and transferred to the grand, Edwardian-era Victoria Falls Hotel, just a ten-minute walk from the Falls themselves, offering views of the historic Victoria Falls Bridge from Stanley's Terrace. After checking in and relaxing, round off the day with a scenic sunset river cruise on the Zambezi River, complete with dinner, watching the sun go down over the water.

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion across the border into Botswana's Chobe National Park, renowned for its enormous elephant herds and abundant game along the Chobe River. The day combines an open-vehicle game drive with a boat cruise on the river, offering superb opportunities to view elephant, buffalo, hippo and crocodile at close range, while lunch is enjoyed during the excursion. You return to The Victoria Falls Hotel in the late afternoon, having experienced one of Southern Africa's premier wildlife destinations, with dinner at leisure in Victoria Falls town this evening.

After breakfast at the hotel, join a guided two-hour walk along the Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, learning about the geology, history and legends of this spectacular waterfall from a knowledgeable guide. Lunch is at leisure. In the early afternoon, take to the skies on a scenic flight of 25 to 30 minutes over Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River, offering breathtaking aerial views of the falls and the surrounding gorges. The rest of the afternoon is free to relax at the hotel pool, on Stanley's Terrace, or explore Victoria Falls town, with optional activities available at an additional cost.
