Your safari begins with a morning flight from Johannesburg (OR Tambo) to Hoedspruit's Eastgate Airport, gateway to the Greater Kruger region. On arrival you are met and transferred to the luxurious Kapama River Lodge, set within the Kapama Private Game Reserve, one of South Africa's largest privately owned reserves and a Big 5 destination. After lunch and check-in, relax beside the pool before setting off on your first afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle, complete with a sundowner stop as the sun sets over the bush. The evening ends with dinner in the lodge's open-air boma or dining room, surrounded by the sounds of the African bushveld.

Rise early for tea, coffee and pastries before heading out on a sunrise game drive in search of lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino across the Kapama reserve. Return for a full breakfast and enjoy leisure time at the pool or spa during the heat of the day. After lunch, set off again in the late afternoon for a second game drive with your guide and assistant guide, pausing for a classic bushveld sundowner as night falls. The day concludes with dinner back at Kapama River Lodge, where you overnight for a second night.

With an early flight ahead, there is no sunrise game drive today - instead you enjoy an early check-out with a packed breakfast before transferring from Kapama to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. From here you fly to Victoria Falls, crossing into Zimbabwe, where you are met on arrival and transferred to the grand, Edwardian-era Victoria Falls Hotel, a ten-minute walk from the Falls and in operation since 1904. After checking in and relaxing in the landscaped gardens, the day closes with a memorable sunset cruise along the Zambezi River, complete with dinner, as the sky turns gold over the water.

After an early breakfast, depart at around 07h00 for a full day exploring Chobe National Park across the border in Botswana, famed for its enormous elephant herds and dense wildlife along the Chobe River. The day combines a game drive through the park with a boat cruise along the Chobe Riverfront, offering superb views of elephant, buffalo, hippo and a wealth of birdlife from the water. Lunch is included during the excursion. You return to The Victoria Falls Hotel in the late afternoon, with dinner left free this evening to explore Victoria Falls town at your own leisure.

Following breakfast at the hotel, join a guide for a two-hour walking tour of Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side, taking in the thundering cascades and rainforest viewpoints of one of the world's largest waterfalls. After lunch at leisure, take to the skies for a 25 to 30 minute scenic flight over Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River, offering a spectacular bird's-eye perspective of the falls and surrounding gorges. The remainder of the afternoon is free to relax at the hotel pool, enjoy afternoon tea on Stanley's Terrace, or explore Victoria Falls town, with optional activities such as bungee jumping or white-water rafting available at your own cost.
