SGR Train from Dar Es Salaam to Morogoro, then Transfer to Mikumi National Park

Your adventure begins with a morning SGR journey from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro.

On arrival, meet your private driver and continue by road towards Mikumi National Park.

After reaching the park, begin your late morning game drive through Mikumi's open plains and woodland landscapes.

Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, impalas and other wildlife, with possible sightings of lions and other predators.

After the game drive, continue to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Transfer from Mikumi to Udzungwa Mountains National Park

Wake up early for a morning transfer, leave the park and drive towards the Udzungwa Mountains.

Upon arrival, begin a guided forest hike through the lush Udzungwa landscape.

Walk along the forest trails, enjoy the mountain scenery and discover the rich plant and bird life of the area.

Depending on the selected trail and conditions, the hike can include a visit to one of Udzungwa's spectacular waterfalls.

After the hike, return to your lodge or camp to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Arrive at the SGR station in time for your train back to Dar es Salaam.

Upon arrival, your private transfer will take you to your hotel or preferred drop-off point, marking the end of your Southern Tanzania adventure.
