Your adventure begins with an early flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park.

After arrival, dive directly to the full day game drive across its open plains and woodland landscapes until sunset.

Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, impalas and other wildlife, with possible sightings of lions and other predators.

As the afternoon cools, continue exploring the park after your picnic bush Lunch before heading to your lodge or camp for a relaxing evening.

Morning transfer from Mikumi National Park to Undzungwa Mountains National Park

Start the morning with an early transfer, leave Mikumi and drive towards the Udzungwa Mountains.

Upon arrival, begin a guided forest hike through the lush mountain environment.

Follow the forest trails surrounded by tropical vegetation, birds and scenic mountain views, with the opportunity to visit one of Udzungwa's beautiful waterfalls depending on the selected trail and conditions.

After the hike and enjoyable picnic lunch up the mountains, return to your lodge or camp for a well-earned rest and evening relaxation.

Transfer to Mikumi National Park for your Flight Back to Zanzibar

After breakfast, begin the drive back towards Mikumi National Park, where you are going to catch your flight back to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to your hotel, marking the end of your Southern Tanzania adventure.
