Arrival in Addis Ababa – Welcome to Ethiopia

Upon arrival at Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional national guide and driver, who will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name. You will then be transferred to your hotel.

Depending on your arrival time and interests, we can arrange a short city tour to introduce you to the highlights of Addis Ababa. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, experience authentic Ethiopian cuisine, and learn about the country's rich cultural heritage, traditions, and way of life.

Addis Ababa – Abijatta–Shalla National Park – Lake Langano

After breakfast, depart from Addis Ababa and drive south through the beautiful Ethiopian Rift Valley, enjoying scenic landscapes spectacular views of the Rift Valley lakes along the way
Before noon, arrive at Abijatta–Shalla National Park, a remarkable destination known for its diverse wildlife, beautiful scenery, and rich birdlife.

During your visit, you may have the opportunity to spot wildlife such as hyenas, jackals, baboons, Grant's gazelles, warthogs, and ostriches. The park is also an excellent destination for birdwatching with flamingos and a wide variety of other aquatic and terrestrial bird species. In the late afternoon, continue to Lake Langano, one of Ethiopia's most popular lakeside destinations. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, admire the beautiful sunset over the lake, and relax at your lakeside accommodation.

Lake Langano – Lake Ziway – Addis Ababa City Tour and Departure

Wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over Lake Langano before having breakfast by the lakeside.

Begin your drive back to Addis Ababa, stopping around Lake Ziway for scenic views and lunch along the way.
