After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by experienced forest rangers. Enter the rainforest in search of wild chimpanzees and observe their social behaviour, communication and movements.

After breakfast, drive south towards Bwindi, home to endangered mountain gorillas.
Enjoy scenic views of the countryside, rolling hills and rural communities along the way.
Arrive at your lodge near the designated gorilla trekking sector and prepare for the next day's adventure.

Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi

Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading to the ranger station for a gorilla trekking briefing. Accompanied by trained guides, hike through the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located, you will normally have up to one hour to observe and photograph them, following ranger instructions.
Return to your lodge to relax after this unforgettable wildlife experience.
