You are then transferred by road to Greenfire Game Lodge in the 50,000-hectare Balule Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park system about 30 km north of Hoedspruit. Check in to your deluxe chalet, set apart in the riverine forest with a private viewing deck over the river bed, and enjoy lunch at the lodge. In the late afternoon you head out on a sunset game drive through Balule, known for its Big 5 sightings, rich birdlife and the smaller mammals drawn to the riverine forest and open plains, before returning for dinner at the lodge.
