Your safari begins with an early-morning departure on the shared shuttle from OR Tambo International Airport for the approximately seven-hour road transfer to Ndzhaka Tented Camp in the private Manyeleti Game Reserve. Manyeleti shares open, unfenced borders with Kruger National Park, Sabi Sands and Timbavati, making it one of the richest wildlife corridors in the Greater Kruger area. On arrival, check in to your luxury premium tent, complete with a private heated pool, and relax before heading out on a sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle, limited to a maximum of seven guests. You are then transferred by road, via Hazyview and Shaws Gate, to Umkumbe Safari Lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, a journey of roughly three to three and a half hours. The Sabi Sand is unfenced from the western boundary of Kruger National Park and renowned for outstanding Big 5 game viewing. On arrival, check in to your Superior Chalet overlooking the Sand River and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, set out on a sunset game drive with sundowners, returning after dark as a night drive, before a boma dinner served around the fire.
