Your safari begins at Zanzibar Airport, where you board a scheduled flight to Seronera Airstrip in the heart of the Serengeti. Depending on the airline’s route, you may stop or connect in Arusha before continuing into wildlife country.
Your private guide will welcome you on arrival, and your first game drive begins as you leave the airstrip. Explore sweeping grasslands and rocky outcrops, watching for giraffes on the horizon, elephants moving across the plains and lions resting in the shade. There will be time for lunch, with the afternoon’s route shaped by your arrival time and wildlife sightings.
Later, settle into Lala Salama Serengeti Luxury Camp. Enjoy dinner and the sounds of the surrounding bush as you unwind after your first day on safari.

Day 2
Full Day in the Serengeti
Full Day in the Serengeti
Wake up to the sounds of the Serengeti and head out early to explore in the soft morning light. The cooler hours can bring rewarding encounters, from predators on the move to herds gathering on the open plains.
With a full day to discover the park, your guide will follow wildlife activity and introduce you to the landscapes and smaller details that make the Serengeti so fascinating. Explore around rocky kopjes, watch animals gather near water and take time to enjoy each sighting. Lunch will be arranged around the day’s game drives.
For a different perspective, you may choose an optional sunrise balloon safari, floating above the plains as the landscape brightens below. This experience requires advance booking, costs extra and replaces part of your morning game drive.
Return to Lala Salama Serengeti Luxury Camp for dinner and another peaceful night in the wilderness.

Day 3
From the Serengeti Plains to Ngorongoro Crater
From the Serengeti Plains to Ngorongoro Crater
Depart early for the Ngorongoro highlands, enjoying the changing scenery as the Serengeti’s open plains give way to higher, cooler country. Where time allows, watch for wildlife along the way.
At Ngorongoro, descend into the crater for a game drive through a remarkable mix of grasslands, wetlands and woodland. Your guide will help you search for lions, buffalo, zebras and hippos, with the possibility of spotting the endangered black rhino. Each turn offers a different view, framed by the crater’s steep walls.
Stop for lunch during your exploration, then ascend from the crater and continue to Moonbow Lodge in the Karatu area. Settle in, enjoy dinner and relax after a day of varied landscapes and wildlife encounters.

Day 4
Tarangire then back to Zanzibar
Tarangire then back to Zanzibar
After breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park for your final safari day. Ancient baobab trees, open savannah and river habitats create a beautiful setting for a morning of wildlife viewing.
Explore with your guide, looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras and the park’s colourful birdlife. Take in the scenery and enjoy your last wildlife encounters before beginning the journey back to Zanzibar.
Your game drive and lunch will be planned around the confirmed flight schedule, allowing time to transfer to Arusha Airport for check-in. Board your return flight to Zanzibar, where your four-day safari ends on arrival at the airport.
