Here, you will settle park entry fees and assign your mandatory armed scout. Afterward, continue driving toward Sankaber to begin a gentle introductory 2 to 3-hour warm-up hike along the breathtaking escarpment ridge, offering your first up-close encounters with grazing troops of endemic Gelada baboons.

Trek from Chenek to Ambiko via Mount Bwahit

Ascend up a steep alpine valley toward Mount Bwahit, standing at an impressive 4,430 meters as the second-highest peak in the range.
