Addis abeba Arrival and City Tour

Upon arrival in Addis Ababa, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional tour guide and driver, then transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.

After some rest, enjoy a highlight city tour of Addis Ababa, beginning with a visit to Bete Maryam Church, built in 1902 during the reign of Empress Zewditu. Continue to the National Museum of Ethiopia, home to the famous fossil remains of Lucy.

Next, drive up to Mount Entoto for breathtaking panoramic views of the city, and visit the historic palace of Emperor Menelik II and the nearby church museum.

Finally, explore Merkato, one of the largest open-air markets in sub-Saharan Africa, where you can experience the vibrant local culture and daily life of Addis Ababa.

At the end of the tour, return to your hotel.

Menagesha Suba Forest – Full-Day Hiking Adventure

After breakfast at your hotel, drive approximately 1.5 hours west of Addis Ababa to Menagesha Suba Forest. Upon arrival, begin a scenic hike of approximately 3 km towards the summit, reaching an elevation of 3,380 metres above sea level.

Accompanied by your experienced guide, explore the beautiful indigenous forest, enjoy the fresh mountain air and discover its fascinating wildlife, including Menelik's bushbuck, colobus monkeys, baboons, grey duikers, warthogs and various bird species.

Once you reach the summit, enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding highlands. Your guide will arrange a scenic picnic spot where you can relax and enjoy your lunch surrounded by nature.

After later in late afternoon, descend through the forest and drive back to Addis Ababa.

Trip to Debre Libanos Monastery & Ethio-German Park

After breakfast, depart from Addis Ababa and head north towards the historic Debre Libanos Monastery. Enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Ethiopian countryside, with breathtaking landscapes, traditional villages, and stunning mountain views along the way.

Arrive at Debre Libanos in the late morning and explore one of Ethiopia’s most important religious and historical sites. Visit the monastery church and museum, learn about its rich history and spiritual significance, and admire the spectacular panoramic views of the Jemma River Gorge and the historic Portuguese Bridge.

After exploring the monastery, continue to Ethio-German Park, a beautiful natural setting surrounded by lush greenery and scenic views. Enjoy a relaxing lunch while taking in the peaceful atmosphere and observing the variety of birdlife found in the area.

After lunch, relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings before driving back to Addis Ababa.
