Arusha To Serengeti National Park

Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha after meeting your professional safari guide for a briefing. Travel towards Serengeti National Park through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of the countryside, traditional Maasai villages and spectacular highland scenery. Upon entering Serengeti, begin your game drive across the famous endless plains, home to an incredible variety of wildlife. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the journey before continuing your wildlife exploration. In the afternoon, proceed to Serenity Camp and Lodge, where you will check in, enjoy dinner and relax in the peaceful wilderness surroundings.

Full day game drive in serengeti national park

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive to explore the remarkable wildlife and diverse landscapes of Serengeti National Park. This is an excellent opportunity to discover different areas of the park and observe animals in their natural habitat. Your safari guide will take you across the open grasslands, rocky kopjes and riverine vegetation while searching for the famous Big Five. Serengeti is particularly known for its large lion population, cheetahs, leopards, elephants and seasonal movements of wildebeest and zebras during the Great Migration. Depending on the season and wildlife movements, you may encounter large herds grazing across the plains or predators hunting in the surrounding grasslands. Stop for a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, return to Serenity Camp and Lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Serengeti National Park To Ngorongoro Highland

Enjoy breakfast at the camp before checking out and beginning your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Depending on wildlife sightings and the route taken, enjoy an en-route game drive through Serengeti, providing additional opportunities to observe wildlife and photograph the beautiful landscapes. As you leave the endless Serengeti plains, travel towards the Ngorongoro Highlands, where the scenery changes into rolling hills, green vegetation and spectacular volcanic landscapes. Along the way, you may encounter wildlife grazing in the open areas and Maasai communities living in harmony with nature. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the journey before continuing towards your accommodation. Upon arrival, check in at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the highlands. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing and preparing for the exciting Ngorongoro Crater exploration the following day.

Ngorongoro Crater Game drive- Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, descending approximately 600 metres into this remarkable natural wonder for an exciting game drive. The crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, making it one of the best places in Tanzania to encounter several animal species in a single day. Explore its beautiful landscapes, including open grasslands, acacia woodlands, freshwater lakes and swamps. Look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and the endangered black rhinoceros Visit the Lake Magadi area, where you may spot flamingos and other waterbirds, and explore the hippo pools. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site near the hippo pool while taking in the breathtaking crater scenery. After lunch, continue your game drive before ascending the crater walls and driving back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or another agreed location, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
