Arusha - Tarangire for Game Drive

Your honeymoon begins in Arusha where your private guide will welcome you with flowers for the bride before driving you to Tarangire National Park, famous for elephants galore and giant baobab trees. You will enjoy a private game drive to see elephants, lions, giraffes and zebras, then end the day with a sunset sundowner with champagne and snacks on a scenic viewpoint. In the late afternoon you will drive to Karatu, a beautiful green highland town, and check in to your honeymoon suite at Hhando Cofee Lodge beautifully decorated with flowers and candles, where you will enjoy a private romantic dinner in your room or in the garden.

Karatu to Serengeti

On the second day, after an early breakfast in Karatu, you will drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands and the scenic Maasai land towards the endless plains of the Serengeti. Because of the transfer, you will arrive in the afternoon for a half-day game drive in the Central Serengeti, the best time to see lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes and the great herds of wildebeest and zebra. You will enjoy a golden hour game drive as the sun sets over the endless plains, before checking in to your honeymoon tent at Mbuni tented Lodge for a private bush dinner under the stars.

Serengeti Full DayGameDrive

The third day is your full Serengeti day. After a sunrise game drive, the best time to see lions and leopards hunting, you will continue with a full day game drive across the Central Serengeti, with a romantic bush picnic lunch in the wild. You will explore the Seronera Valley, famous for its big cats and large herds, and enjoy the endless views that make Serengeti the most famous park in Africa. In the late afternoon you will drive back through the Ngorongoro Highlands to Karatu, where you will check in again to your honeymoon lodge for a relaxing evening, a warm bath, and a private candle-lit dinner to celebrate your Serengeti day.

Ngorongoro Crater - Farewell

On your final morning, after breakfast in Karatu, you will drive a short distance to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the Garden of Eden, where you can see the Big Five in one morning, lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. You will enjoy a romantic bush picnic lunch by Lake Magadi with hippos nearby, before a slow afternoon game drive around the crater floor. In the late afternoon you will ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, where you will be dropped at Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight or your Zanzibar extension, ending your romantic safari in the most beautiful way.
