Your safari begins in Arusha, where your professional safari guide will meet you at your hotel at approximately 6:00 AM.

After a short briefing, depart for Ndutu, travelling through Karatu and the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the Southern Serengeti ecosystem.

The drive generally takes approximately 6 hours, covering around 280–320 km, depending on road conditions and the location of your camp.

Along the way, enjoy views of the changing landscapes, from cultivated highland areas to open plains.

Upon reaching Ndutu, begin wildlife viewing if time and park conditions permit.

During the calving season, the area may offer opportunities to see wildebeest herds, newborn calves, zebras and predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas.

Around midday, stop at a designated picnic site for lunch before continuing with the afternoon game drive.

Spend the day exploring the seasonal grasslands and surrounding habitats, with opportunities for photography and learning about the migration and the behaviour of the animals.

Descend to the crater floor and explore its grasslands, wetlands and woodland habitats, where you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and lions.

With luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site before continuing with wildlife viewing.

In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha.

The drive from the crater area to Arusha generally takes approximately 3-3.5 hours, depending on road conditions and the time spent inside the crater.
