Arrival in Arusha

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, meet your Gosheni transfer driver and travel to Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha. Your safari briefing covers the route, departure time and practical arrangements for the next morning. The rest of the day is free to rest after your journey. No game drive is planned today, and meals are at your own expense. Your first overnight stay and airport transfer are included.

Tarangire Game Drive - Serian Tarangire Camp

After breakfast, depart Arusha with your private Gosheni driver-guide for Tarangire National Park. Explore the baobab woodland and river valley in a pop-up roof 4x4, stopping for a picnic lunch between game drives. Watch for elephants, giraffes, zebra and the many birds that live here. Wildlife sightings vary with the season and conditions. In the late afternoon, continue to Serian Tarangire Camp, part of Acacia Collections, for dinner and an overnight stay inside the park.

Serengeti Game Drives - Enkirari Wilderness Camp

On day 3, leave Serian Tarangire Camp early for the long drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti. Carry a packed lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive en route to Enkirari Wilderness Camp, part of Acacia Collections. Day 4 is a full day of game drives in your private pop-up roof 4x4. Explore Central Serengeti with your Gosheni guide, looking for predators, elephant families and antelope. Both nights are at Enkirari, with breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinking water included. Wildlife sightings depend on conditions.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Depart Enkirari Wilderness Camp early with breakfast and lunch packed for the journey to Ngorongoro. Continue into the conservation area and descend for an afternoon game drive on the crater floor in your private pop-up roof 4x4. Look for buffalo, zebra, lions and, with luck, black rhino. Ascend in the afternoon and continue to Naserian Safari Camp, part of Acacia Collections, for dinner and the night. This is a full day with substantial driving.

Fly to Zanzibar - Stone Town

After breakfast at Naserian Safari Camp, drive to Arusha Airport for the included domestic flight to Zanzibar. Meet your island transfer driver and continue to Zanzibar Serena Hotel in Stone Town. After checking in, enjoy a guided walk through the old town, with time to learn about its Swahili trading history and see the narrow lanes and carved doors. No wildlife-viewing activity is planned today. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, with your overnight stay at Zanzibar Serena.

On day 7, transfer from Stone Town to Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa on the northeast coast of Zanzibar. Settle into your room and spend the afternoon by the beach or pool. Days 8 and 9 are free for beach time at your own pace. Tides change the swimming conditions, and the hotel team can advise on the day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included throughout your resort stay. Optional boat trips, diving and other excursions cost extra. No wildlife-viewing activities are scheduled during these three days.
