Nairobi to Masai Mara and two full safari days

Day 1: Depart Nairobi by private pop-up roof 4x4 and travel to the Masai Mara for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Spend three nights at Zebra Plains Mara Camp. Days 2 and 3: Explore the reserve on full-day game drives with picnic lunches, allowing time to watch animal behaviour and follow current sightings. Search the grasslands and riverbanks for lions, elephants, giraffes and plains game. Migration movements follow rainfall, and crossings are never guaranteed. Return to camp for dinner each evening. Lunch, dinner and drinking water are included from day 1, with breakfast on days 2 and 3. Optional balloon flights cost extra.

Isebania crossing and Serengeti wildlife

Day 4: Leave early for the Isebania border, complete immigration formalities and meet your Tanzania guide. This is a long road-transfer day, with wildlife viewing en route as time and conditions allow. Continue to Enkirari Wilderness Camp for dinner. Days 5 and 6: Enjoy full-day game drives in your private pop-up roof 4x4 around the Central Serengeti, taking picnic lunches to avoid returning to camp at midday. Explore kopjes, river valleys and grasslands in search of big cats, elephants and plains game. Your guide follows recent sightings and explains the ecosystem. All meals and drinking water are included, and you return to Enkirari each evening. Migration locations depend on the season and rainfall; sightings cannot be promised.

Serengeti morning safari and Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti in your private pop-up roof 4x4. Your guide balances wildlife viewing with the onward journey, allowing time for sightings before travelling into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Have lunch along the way, then continue to Naserian Safari Camp in the cooler highlands. Relax at camp before dinner and prepare for an early start tomorrow. Today combines a morning safari with the road transfer; the crater descent takes place on the final day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinking water are included.

Ngorongoro Crater game drive and Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive in your private pop-up roof 4x4. Explore grassland, marshes and woodland while looking for lions, buffalo, zebra and, with luck, black rhino. Your guide explains how wildlife uses the different habitats; no sighting is guaranteed. Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending and continuing to Arusha, where the safari ends. Breakfast, lunch and drinking water are included, with no accommodation tonight. Please allow enough time for an evening flight, or request an extra night in Arusha at additional cost.
