Depart Nairobi for the Masai Mara National Reserve

By 07:45, you will be picked up from the hotel, be introduced to other group members, and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley, with a stop in Narok town for refueling. Upon arrival at the camp, have a hot lunch and a short siesta. Later, you will proceed for a game drive from 15:00 to 18:30, tracking various animal species and birds. Dinner and overnight are at the camp with permanent tents with private bathrooms and showers.

Morning to evening game watching

After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight are at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Maasai village visit and depart for Nakuru

After an early pre-breakfast, leave for the Maasai village (optional). After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru, with lunch en route. Enjoy scenic views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway, as well as Lake Elementaita. Arrive in Nakuru town in the evening, and have dinner and an overnight stay at Buraha Zenoni Hotel.

Morning game drive and return to Nairobi

After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific birdlife, including flamingoes. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino, while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. Drive back to Nairobi after lunch. You will be dropped off at the airport or at your Nairobi hotel.
