Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, you will drive on a tarmac road 130km with a lunch box to Lake Manyara National Park for afternoon game drives. You'll start the game drive through the underground water forest. You'll proceed to the acacia woodland savannah open land, pass by a hot water spring, and proceed to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara is home to many flamingos and other water birds. The park is home to tree-climbing lions, hippo, elephant, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, baboon, blue and velvet monkey, warthog, and more. About 350 species of birds have been recorded here. You'll visit the Masai tribe. After that, you'll drive to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Flamingo Chemchem Luxury Lodge.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you'll leave for Serengeti National Park, driving through Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with the option of visiting Olduvai Gorge (known as the cradle of mankind, the hominid fossils dating back 2 million years). The game drive takes you to the vast Serengeti plains, home of the big game animals, the predators, the great migration, and the Nile crocodiles. At sunset, you are driven to Intimate Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll start the day with the morning game drives in Serengeti National Park, marveling at the stunning scenery, ever-changing light, and always entertaining wildlife, all explained to you by your expert guide.
With the option of a picnic or hot lunch at 12:30 pm. After lunch, you'll set off again for afternoon game drives that take you till sunset, 6:30 pm. You'll head back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Intimate Places Tented Camp.

After breakfast, you'll depart from the Serengeti Ngorongoro Crater Rim. You'll wake up for early morning game drives in Serengeti. Then, you'll head back to the campsite for breakfast. You will then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater rim for dinner and an overnight stay in Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

Crater to Arusha

You'll wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then descend into the crater floor for game drives. All the Big Five (rhino, lion, buffalo, and elephant) live in this wonderful caldera. Others that live here are zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingos on the Soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Your lunch will be served in the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp, a Hippo pool. After lunch, you'll drive back to Arusha.
