Arrival and Heading to Kruger National Park

We’ll collect you from Johannesburg International Airport for a private, guided transfer to Kruger National Park. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights into the region’s culture, history, and scenery.

Upon arrival at the park gates, your safari begins immediately with wildlife viewing en route to camp. After checking in at your lodge inside Kruger, Crocodile Bridge or similar, you’ll enjoy a relaxed afternoon game drive. The timing depends on your arrival and energy, but sightings are often special at this hour.

Back at camp, enjoy a traditional South African dinner cooked over open flames and served under the stars. Then it’s off to bed, surrounded by the sounds of the wild. Your safari adventure begins in earnest tomorrow.

Full-Day Safari at Kruger National Park

Wake before sunrise to set off on an early morning game drive, prime time for spotting predators still on the move and wildlife heading to waterholes. Breathe in the fresh bushveld air and enjoy the magic of Africa at first light.

Stop mid-morning for a cooked breakfast at a scenic picnic site, surrounded by stunning views and visiting wildlife. During the midday heat, relax by the pool, continue game viewing, or birdwatch from the shade.

As evening approaches, join Kruger Rangers for a 3-hour open vehicle night drive. With spotlights in hand, search for nocturnal predators now on the prowl.

Back at camp, enjoy a traditional dinner prepared by your guide over open coals and served under a star-filled sky.

Full-Day Safari in Kruger National Park

Start the day with an early rise and another open vehicle game drive, this time exploring a different area of the park for new sightings. Enjoy a bush breakfast at a scenic picnic spot, then continue your drive at a relaxed pace, soaking up the sights and sounds of the wild.

Today, you’ll change camps, offering the chance to experience a new region of Kruger. After check-in and a short break, set out on your afternoon game drive. As the sun begins to set, your guide will find the perfect spot for sundowners and snacks, cheese, biscuits, and traditional South African biltong, while you take in the sweeping views of the savannah.

Return to camp, freshen up, and gather around the fire to share stories from the day before, enjoying another delicious dinner under the stars.

Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve

Begin the day with a final sunrise game drive in an open safari vehicle, guided by Kruger’s expert rangers. Afterward, return to camp for a cooked breakfast and check out. Enjoy a slow drive toward the exit, with one last chance for a special sighting.

Leaving the park, you'll head to the magnificent Blyde River Canyon. Stop at all the must-see highlights, God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels, and both Berlin and Lisbon Falls.

Check into your lodge inside the Blyde Canyon Reserve, where spectacular views await. Adventure lovers can choose from a variety of optional activities in the area.

Dinner is enjoyed at the resort’s restaurant (own cost), with views of the iconic Three Rondavels, visible from both the deck and your chalet.

Enjoy a relaxed start to the day, or for the more energetic, take a scenic gorge hike before breakfast. After a hearty meal at the lodge, begin the journey back to Johannesburg, taking in the last views of the canyon and surrounding landscapes along the way.
