Dar to Mikumi National Park

Depart from Dar es Salaam at 7 am and proceed to Mikumi National Park via Chalinze and Morogoro, with a picnic lunch pack included. Proceed with an afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park, home to zebras, buffalos, elephants and many more animals. Here you will also encounter many species of birds. Meals and your overnight stay are at Mikumi Bastian Campsite.

Full Time Mikumi Park

After breakfast, proceed with a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Due to the park being located in savannah plains, animals are easily seen and accessed. Mikumi National Park is home to elephants, zebras, lions, buffalos and many species of antelopes. Accommodation and all meals are at Mikumi Bastian Campsite.

Mikumi - Udzungwa Mountains Sanje Falls

An early breakfast is followed by a 1-hour drive to the Udzungwa Mountains, with a picnic lunch in the bush. You will then proceed on a hike to Sanje Waterfalls, while spotting the endemic red colobus monkeys and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Lunch will be served at the Sanje viewpoint. You will then descend toward the car, then start driving back to Mikumi for meals and your overnight stay at Bastian Campsite. If you wish, tonight can be spent at the Udzungwa Hondohondo Campsite.

Udzungwa - Dar es Salaam

You will go on a short visit to the Maasai village where you will learn about their culture and their way of living, enjoy dances and possibly buy some local Maasai gifts for your friends back home. You will then drive back to Bastian Camp for breakfast and a packed lunch for the trip back to Dar es Salaam. We will drop you off at your hotel, home, airport, ferry or at your specified location.
