The driving time from Lusaka CBD to is 5+ hours but that is what makes this tour exciting because you don't just see Zambia you experience it. The best way to experience a country is to travel it by road. You will have a lunch stop in Mumbwa. Later, you will arrive in Kafue National Park, settle in, and relax. You will have a chance for an evening activity such as an evening game drive or sunset cruise. Then, you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

This day brings alight the magic of the Kafue National Park as you will explore this amazing wonderland on a morning and evening/night game drive or a sunset cruise. You will start with a morning wake-up call at 5:15 a.m. At 5:45 a.m., you will have a light breakfast in the main area. At 6:00 a.m., you will depart for your morning game drive. At 10:30 a.m., you will return from your morning activity and have brunch at 11:00 a.m. You will have time to relax after brunch before heading to your afternoon safari with your guide at 3:00/4:00 p.m. You can also decide to enjoy a sunset cruise. At 8:00 p.m., you will have dinner and later an overnight stay.

Transfer to South Luangwa National Park

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to Lusaka by road. The driving time to Lusaka KKIA is approximately 6+ hours depending on traffic conditions in Lusaka. You will have an afternoon or evening flight to South Luangwa. On arrival, you will transfer to the lodge from Mfuwe Airport. Later, you will relax, have dinner, and an overnight stay.

This day brings alight the magic of the South Luangwa as you will explore this amazing wonderland on a morning and evening/night game drive. You will have a morning wake-up call at 5:15 a.m. At 5:45 a.m., you will have a light breakfast in the main area before departing at 6:00 a.m. for your morning game drive. You will return from the game drive at 10:30 a.m. and have brunch. You will get some time to relax before having afternoon tea at 3:00 p.m. At 3:30 p.m., you will depart for an afternoon and evening game drive and return at 7:30 p.m. You will have dinner at 8:00 p.m., and later an overnight stay.

You will wake up, have breakfast then transfer to Mfuwe Airport. You might fly to Lower Zambezi (Mfuwe to Royal Airstrip) directly but some days, there are no direct flights unless with one stop in Lusaka. You will arrive in Lower Zambezi and get a chance for a sunset cruise depending on your time of arrival. Later, you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

At 5:15 a.m., you will have a morning wake-up call. At 5:45 a.m., you will have a light breakfast in the main area before your departure at 6:00 a.m. for your morning game drive. You will return from the game drive at 11:30 a.m. and have lunch at 12:00 p.m. At 3:00 p.m., you will have an afternoon tea before departing at 4:00 p.m. for an evening game drive. You will return from the game drive at 8:00 p.m., have dinner and an overnight stay
You can alternatively do a full-day game drive in the morning, return at around mid-afternoon and do a sunset cruise in the evening.
