Day 1

You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel from where we will drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the Serengeti vast plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. You'll be arriving late in the afternoon for lunch at our camp and relax before departing for the afternoon drive. Other animals in the park include the Masai giraffe, buffalo, eland and thousands of plain game including impala, zebra, topi, both Thompsons and Grant gazelles.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will head out for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch to enjoy at Mara River migration bridge area. This day is spent game viewing Kenya’s finest wildlife. Your morning and afternoon game drives take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. You will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, bat-eared fox, grey jackal, spotted hyena, impala, hartebeest and wildebeest. Elephant, buffalo, zebra and hippo are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lion either basking after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next. Cheetah and leopard are harder to spot but they can be seen. The ultimate action is the annual great wildebeest migration, July through October when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass. Later in the evening, you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

After an early breakfast, you will start the day with a sunrise game drive where you might be lucky to witness a lion hunting for his breakfast. Later, you will visit the Maasai village to conclude your Masai Mara safari experience. After check out, you will depart from your safari camp and enjoy your final game drive through the reserve as you return to Nairobi; arriving in the afternoon. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at the airport or at the hotel of your choice.
