Arrival in Arusha

Arrival at Kilimanjaro airport and meet with our representative. Road transfer to the accommodation, located on the outskirt of Arusha, with lovely gardens and views over the plantations around.

Time at leisure, depending on your arrival flight we can book optional cultural day excursions.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you are transferred to Arusha airport and fly to the Serengeti. Arrive at the airstrip and transfer to camp via a meandering game drive. You are spending 3x nights at Olakira Migration camp including all your meals, shared scheduled game drives and local beverages.

Serengeti North (June to October): This is the time to watch thousands of wildebeest take a leap of faith into the water, facing hungry Nile crocodiles and cantankerous hippos. When the herds are on the move, the air is full of grunting, thudding hooves and billowing dust.

Serengeti South (December to March): Spend time game viewing on grassy plains, where the wildebeest gather to give birth around February each year. Watch thousands of wobbly-legged young finding their feet, something they have to do quickly to avoid the watchful big cats that stalk these plains.

Depart Serengeti

Your last morning on the Serengeti Plains, you will be transferred to the airstrip after breakfast.

On arrival in Arusha, transfer to the Village Centre, at Arusha Coffee Lodge, where you will be at leisure to visit the local shops, walk in the gardens, have lunch (own account), or we can also book an optional day room. Later in the afternoon, road transfer to Kilimanjaro airport on time for your flight.
