Arusha - Kogatende Serengeti

You will be picked up early in the morning from your accommodation in Arusha and transferred to Arusha Airport for a scenic Cessna Caravan flight to the Northern Serengeti. The flight takes approximately one hour and offers stunning aerial views of Tanzania’s wilderness.

Upon arrival, you will be met by your professional safari guide and immediately begin tracking the Great Migration, focusing on the famous river-crossing areas. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the bush, followed by continued game viewing. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Wildlife sightings may include lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and many other species.

Great Migration Tracking Mara River

Enjoy two game drives, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The morning game drive begins just before sunrise, offering the best chances to see predators in action. There is also the option to include a hot air balloon safari in the early morning for a truly unforgettable aerial experience.

The morning game drive runs from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a break during the midday hours for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, you will head out again from 3:00 p.m. until sunset, when the light is perfect for wildlife viewing and photography.

The Mara River region offers exceptional safari experiences, combining dramatic scenery with endless wildlife encounters, including the famous Great Migration river crossings.
