The Samburu National Reserve is a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve. The park is 165 km² in size and is situated 350 kilometers from Nairobi. It ranges in altitude from 800 to 1230m above sea level.[1] Geographically, it is located in Samburu County.

Early morning game drive in a safari vehicle with pop up roof for game viewing. Late breakfast to follow. Lunch will be provided at your lodge. You spend early afternoon at leisure until 1530 hours when you go for your afternoon game drive till dusk.

Samburu to Masai Mara

After breakfast you prepare to transfer to airstrip from where you depart to Masai Mara Game reserve at 9:15. You arrive at 10:45 hrs en-route to Mara Serena Lodge you will enjoy a game drive. After lunch at the lodge you relax at a leisure until 15:30 hrs when you set off for game drive till dusk.

Full Day Game viewing at Masai Mara

On this day you will enjoy a morning game drive at 9:30 hours and an afternoon game drive at 15:00 hours in the Masai Mara. The game viewing activity will be broken by lunch at the lodge at 13:00 hours. Ten you will have sometime for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

Today after breakfast you will continue with the game drive in maasai mara enroute heading to Nairobi. You will have you lunch at one of the picnic sites in the mara and afterwards you will start the drive back to Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon or in the evening and you will be dropped at your hotel for a well deserved rest.
