Day 1

After breakfast, you will be picked up from any place of your choice in Kampala or Entebbe and travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Travelling through Fort Portal, you will reach Buffalo Safari Lodge, in Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a stunningly beautiful view over the Kazinga Channel. You will check in have lunch and then take off for an afternoon game drive if you are not tired. If you decide not to go on the game drive, you can rest at the lodge and enjoy the wildlife that comes very close to the lodge. Later in the evening, you will have dinner and turn in for the night.

Day 2

Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you will start the day with an early game drive that exposes you to a diverse variety of animals including the “Big Five”, elephants, buffalo, and other big cats including leopards, warthogs, and hyenas. There is also a rich birdlife including stork and flamingo in the salt lakes at Kasenyi. After lunch, you will embark on the boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel, linking Lake George and Lake Edward. You will view the land and water adapted hippopotamus, the National Geographical Society’s “killing machine”, the Nile crocodile along the banks and warthog/pumba. With the aid of your binoculars, you will see a magnificent view of birds and animals. At sunset, you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Kampala

Kampala

After breakfast, you will check out of camp and make your way back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Equator for lunch. If you are continuing your journey somewhere else or back home, you will be dropped off at the airport or you will be brought back to the hotel of your choice in Kampala for your overnight stay. This is where your safari will end.
