Day 1

We will pick you up at your preferred location in Arusha, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive in this compact but diverse park, well known for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, flamingos, and lush groundwater forests. Lunch will be taken inside the park. In the late afternoon, exit the park and continue to the Karatu area. Dinner and overnight will be at Karatu Tented Camp.

Following breakfast, depart Karatu and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending into the highlands before continuing toward the vast plains of the Serengeti. Along the way, enjoy changing landscapes and wildlife sightings. Arrive in Central Serengeti in time for lunch in the bush, followed by an afternoon game drive in one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife regions, renowned for its large predator populations and resident plains game. Dinner and overnight will be at Mawe Tented Camp.

Spend a full day exploring the Central Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. This area offers excellent year-round wildlife viewing, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of herbivores. The day can be structured with a picnic lunch in the bush or a return to camp, depending on wildlife movements and guest preference. Dinner and overnight will be at Mawe Tented Camp.

Dinner and overnight will be at Karatu Tented Camp.

An early breakfast is followed by a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive on the crater floor. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, and large herds of buffalo. After lunch, ascend the crater and proceed to Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight will be at Baobab Tented Camp.

Later in the day, depart the park and drive back to Arusha at your preferred location or optional transfer directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight, marking the end of your safari experience.
