Day 1

You will depart from Nairobi in the morning for a journey south through the floor of the Great Rift Valley. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch at Narok. Proceed with the journey and arrive at the Mara for an afternoon game drive. Masai Mara offers excellent big cats sightings especially if timed well with the yearly wildebeest great migration. Later on, you'll drive to your camp.

Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Lenchada Tourist Camp.

After breakfast, you'll leave the camp or lodge with a picnic lunch and explore the park to see its myriad of attractions. Masai Mara was recently crowned as the seventh Wonder of the World. You'll also visit the Mara River to see hippos and crocodiles. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before proceeding with an afternoon game drive. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Lenchada Tourist Camp.

Day 3

In the morning, you'll enjoy a pre-breakfast game drive between 6.30 am and 8.30 am. Then you'll return to the camp for breakfast and check out. You'll begin the journey to Lake Nakuru with lunch stop at Narok. You will arrive in Nakuru later in the afternoon for Dinner and overnight at Lanet Matfam.

Note: Because you will be passing Naivasha on your way to Nakuru, optional boat safari at Naivasha can be added on this day. Please inform your consultant if you think this is what you might need to do.

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive en-route Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro. We will visit the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world—Serengeti National Park. The word ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains’ which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary. Yet for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game viewing. Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration that brings them from Central Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. You'll have an early breakfast at around 5:50 am and then descend down the crater at 6:00 am for a 6-7 hours game drive. We will venture onto the crater floor for an upclose view of the residents of this World Heritage Site. We'll also get to enjoy a picnic lunch here. The Ngorongoro Crater provides great game-viewing all year round. The wildlife here makes up a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons. You'll later have an afternoon drive to Nsya Campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Today, you'll proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Although small in size, this park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park. At the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley, before which lies the ground water forest, areas of open grassland near the lake foreshore, and the soda lake. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in this area. It has open grassy areas, hot springs, dense woodland and steep mountainsides. Lake Manyara National Park is a birding paradise that has more than 350 species of bird. The park is also famed for its unique and elusive tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon, you'll drive to Arusha for an overnight stay at The Charity Hotel.
