Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 am and drive west toward the Masai Mara Game Reserve, with a stop for lunch along the way. You will arrive in time for an evening game drive in the Mara, which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. The reserve is home to over 450 recorded animal species, including both resident and migratory wildlife. Although July, August, and September are the peak months for witnessing the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra, wildlife can be spotted year-round. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

You will spend the full day on a game drive within the reserve. The landscape features scenic savannah grasslands spread across rolling hills. The Masai Mara is considered the best park for game viewing in Kenya, thanks to its extensive road and track network that allows for close-range wildlife sightings and excellent photography opportunities. You will break for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, where you can watch for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Nairobi - Arusha

Starting from Nairobi, you will take a shuttle to Arusha, arriving at the Namanga border around 10:30 am for immigration procedures and visa processing. Afterward, you will continue to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon. Check in at your hotel, which is booked on a bed and breakfast basis.

After breakfast and your final game drive, you’ll depart Ngorongoro for Olduvai Gorge (optional activity). Have lunch at the Gorge Museum, then visit various sites within the gorge to see where the remains of prehistoric man were discovered by the famous archaeologist Dr. L.S.B. Leakey. Afterwards, proceed to Arusha for an overnight stay in a budget hotel. Dinner will be on your own.
