Your safari begins with departure from Arusha toward Tarangire, one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks. The rolling savannah, dotted with ancient baobab trees, creates a dramatic backdrop for wildlife viewing. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and excellent predator sightings.

Today is dedicated to exploring the Northern Serengeti, particularly around the Mara River area. This is where the dramatic wildebeest migration crossings occur between July and October.

Spend the day tracking herds as they gather along the riverbanks. The crossings are unpredictable and can involve thousands of wildebeests plunging into crocodile-infested waters while predators wait nearby. Beyond the migration, the area hosts resident wildlife including lions, cheetahs, elephants and large buffalo herds.

Explore the open grasslands, Lerai Forest and soda lake areas before enjoying a picnic lunch near the hippo pool. In the afternoon, begins to ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha or transfer directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
