1-Day Gorilla Trekking Trip Bwindi/Mgahinga Gorilla NP

Your day begins early with a pickup between 5:00–6:00 AM from your hotel in Lake Bunyonyi or Kabale. After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi/Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Upon arrival, attend a mandatory briefing at the park headquarters where rangers provide safety guidelines and assign you to a gorilla group. The trek through dense forest terrain can take 2–8 hours depending on the gorillas’ movement. Once found, you will spend a magical hour observing these endangered giants in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the park base and drive back to your hotel, arriving by late afternoon or early evening. This memorable encounter marks the end of your one-day gorilla trekking adventure.
