Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you will begin your tour with a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park. You will have your picnic lunch to enjoy along the way. The park is home to herds of up to 300 elephants that scrape the waterless river bed for alternative streams. You'll also see nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland mass at the decreased lagoons. The Tarangire ecosystem is a smorgasbord for predators and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly seen. It is the only national park that houses migrant animals during the dry season. Later in the evening, you will head back to Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay at the Migombani Campsite.

Ngorongoro Crater to Kilimanjaro

Today, you will have an early breakfast and proceed directly to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. You'll enjoy a 5-6 hours crater tour with a picnic lunch. While down at the crater, you will be able to see all the Big Five.
Later on, you will proceed to Kilimanjaro in the evening. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at Kilimanjaro Crane Hotel.

Mt Kilimanjaro, Mandara Hut - Arusha

After breakfast, you will drive through Kilimanjaro’s semi-tropical foothills to the Marangu Gate. The gate is situated on the southeastern side of the mountain, viewing the snow-capped peak. At the gate, you will meet with your team of guides and porters. Pick up any last-minute supplies for the trek and then head to the entrance of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park to register for the climb. It is some 4-5 hours through patches of coffee plantation and dense rainforest to Mandara Hut. The forest teems with brightly colored birdlife and a variety of monkeys. The flora includes numerous mosses, lichens and flowers, as well as delicate orchids. Later in the evening, you will travel back to Arusha for your overnight stay at the hotel. At the end of your tour, we will drop you off at the airport. This is where your safari will end.
