Dar es Salaam to Mikumi

We pick you up at 6 am from your hotel or an early morning pick-up from Dar es Salaam Airport. We proceed on the 6-hour drive to Mikumi where we will stop for a hot lunch. We go for an afternoon and evening game drive inside the park while dinner and overnight will be at Tan-Swiss Lodge.

Mikumi game drive

After breakfast at the camp, leave with a packed lunch for the game drive inside the park. Look for the big cats of Mikumi National Park, hippos, crocodiles, and birds. After lunch, proceed with the game drive before heading to Tan-Swiss Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Mikumi to Ruaha

After breakfast, proceed on the 5-hour drive with a packed lunch to Isimila Stone Age in Iringa. You will be passing through the countryside and have nice scenery and beautiful valleys and mountains on the way. Experience the origin of mankind, the tools they used, and nature. Later, drive to Iringa for dinner and overnight at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge.

Ruaha game drive

After breakfast, drive with a packed lunch to Ruaha National Park for a game drive. You will have a nice view of the Ruaha River valley, and great animal sightings like kudus, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, lions, hippos, hartebeests, impalas, antelopes, giraffes, and many more. In the morning, you will participate in a walking safari in Ruaha to take advantage of seeing underground features that you could not sight them during the game drive head to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge for your overnight stay.
