3-Day Gorilla Trekking in Uganda from Kigali

Pick up from Kigali International Airport

Your gorilla tracking experience to Uganda will begin from Kigali. You will be picked up from your hotel or from Kigali International Airport. Depending on where your permit is booked, it will take up to 3-4 hours to reach your hotel from Kigali. Visit Kigali Genocide Memorial. If there is no time, you would do a Kigali City Tour before proceeding home. It can be either Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. On arrival, you will check in and proceed to the Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast at 6:00 am, you will get ready for the gorilla trekking. Ensure that you carry a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, and jungle boots. Also, do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare mountain gorillas. Trekking take 2 hours or more and there is a need to do some physical exercises before doing it and need to be healthy. It is necessary to declare any illness like asthma among others so that the park know where to assign and do more precautions. Transfer to Musanze afterwards and check in at your Hotel for departure back to Kigali on the next day.
