Flying from Entebbe to the Rift Valley, you’ll drive into the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. This dense swathe of mountainous rainforest is a haven of biodiversity. The rich habitat here harbors chimpanzee, baboon, elephant and some 300 bird species, For most visitors the park’s population of endangered mountain gorilla is understandably the main attraction.

Tracking mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Over the next few days, experienced and knowledgeable guides lead you out into the rain-forest in search of gorilla families. You’ll be mesmerized by these immensely powerful, yet surprisingly graceful, primates. Watch silently through parted leaves as they feed and groom each other, just a short distance away from you. With the family’s babies playing in the undergrowth the dominant silverback male keeps a careful eye out. But no-one could be watching more intently than you.

Fly back from Bwindi – Entebbe

Wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast, end your stay in the "Land of the Mountain Gorillas" and depart with great memories of the moments spent with the fascinating Mountain Gorillas. Transfer to airfield to fly back to Entebbe Airport where you will catch your flight back home.
