3-Day Kruger Park Safari with Stargazing

Arrival in Kruger National Park

After a 7 am shuttle departure at OR Tambo you make your way to the safari capital Hoedspruit, where you'll be met by your Khalanga guide. We begin our safari at Orpen Gate with our open safari vehicle (OSV) which gives you the best viewing and picture opportunities over the bushes and high grass. All safari drives are accompanied by enriching and fascinating insights from your guide, who knows the African bush intimately and can tell by any tracks, signs and even smells where the animals are. You're guaranteed to have the best possible experience of Kruger National Park.

Safari in Central Kruger Park and Stargazing activity

We get up early to make the most of our Kruger Safari. Your guide prepares a quick coffee and snack as we get on our way. We spend the morning in search of all the iconic animal species, including the Big 5. Your dedicated professional field guide will frequent dams and water holes where the animals are most frequently seen to maximize wildlife viewing opportunities.

Later in the morning, we stop at one of the picnic spots where your guide prepares a delicious, cooked breakfast.

Around noon we return to the rest camps for lunch (own account). You can spend the last hours of daylight resting at the pool or discovering the camp on foot. Meanwhile, your guide prepares a rustic braai to celebrate your Kruger Park adventure. We enjoy our meal and spend an hour observing the African night sky with its planets and stars; before retiring to our comfortable bungalows.

Last game drive and return to Johannesburg

After an early departure on the last safari of this tour, we drive back toward the park gate. Back in Hoedspruit, you transfer to the shuttle vehicle and return to OR Tambo (arrival at around 17:00). Whether you continue your journey in Africa or return back home, you will take a lifetime of unforgettable memories with you of your African safari experience.
