You'll arrive in Kigali and have a VIP meet and greet assistance at the airport. You will be handed over to and warmly welcomed by our representative.
You'll transfer to the city hotel for hotel for check-in. Before dinner tonight, you will have the opportunity for formal introductions and to run over the exciting program for your upcoming Rwanda tour.

Day 2

8:30: After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and settle all extras.
9:30: You'll proceed on a city tour that will include the Kigali Genocide memorial and the Inema Arts Gallery.
Highlight: The memorial sets out the history leading up to the genocide in Rwanda and also explains other genocides around the world. It includes poignant displays of victims’ photographs and belongings, bringing the realities of the atrocities to life. While it might seem an unusual tourist attraction and can be upsetting, it does help to put into context how and why the genocide happened and to better appreciate just how far the country has moved on together in the intervening years.
12:30 pm: You'll have lunch at Heaven Restaurant, then set off for Musanze & Volcanoes National Park.
You will arrive in the evening and check in at the hotel.
Dinner will follow, and an overnight stay.

Day 3

6:30 am: After an early breakfast at the hotel, you'll proceed to the park headquarters in time for the gorilla trek briefing. At 7:00 am, we will then transfer you to the trailhead of your guided walk that begins at 8:00 am.
There is no other wildlife experience quite like an encounter with mountain gorillas. That precious hour spent in their company —watching the group playing, sulking, teasing each other, eating, or dozing just like we do —is extraordinary.
Gorilla trekking can be arduous —some of the groups wander high up the mountainsides —but it is always utterly rewarding.
After this memorable experience, you will proceed to the hotel in time for lunch and the cleaning of boots.
This afternoon at 3:00 pm, you will visit the Gorilla Guardians village.
You'll return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

6:30 am: Today, you have an early breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for the Golden monkey trekking briefing, which starts at 7:00 am. We will then transfer you to the trailhead of your guided walk that begins at 8:00.
The tracking usually takes about 4 hrs. Once you come to the habituated families, you will spend the allowed one hour with them as they go about their daily life.
After this memorable experience, you will proceed to the hotel in time for lunch and the cleaning of your boots.
This afternoon, you will visit the twin lakes and have coffee at the Virunga lodge.
You'll descend later and return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll have breakfast at the hotel. Then, you'll check out at leisure. You'll drive to Kigali. You will arrive and have lunch at the Sole Luna Restaurant.
You'll transfer to the airport for the outbound flight.
