Day 1

Dar es Salaam to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up at 4:30am at your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam and board a flight at 7:00am to Arusha City. After landing in Arusha at 9:15am, our guide will pick you up with a 4x4 Land Cruiser with an open roof. It is a 2.5-hour drive from Arusha Airport to Tarangire.

Upon arrival at Tarangire National Park, we depart for a game drive and a picnic lunch. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. The game drive will be until 5:00pm before returning to Arusha City for dinner and an overnight stay at The Charity Hotel.

Arusha Airport and Flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast, at 8:30am, our driver will pick you up and drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. At Zanzibar, our driver will assist you and transfer you to your accommodation. The drop off at your chosen hotel marks the end of the tour.
