In the morning, we will pick you up from the airport upon arrival, or from your hotel in Nairobi, and depart for the Masai Mara. We will drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the Serengeti vast plains famously known for its spectacular great Wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. Have lunch at our camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. Other animals in the park include Maasai giraffe, buffalo, eland and thousands of plain game including impala, zebra, topi, both Thompsons and Grant gazelles.

Day 2

After the morning breakfast at 6:30 am, you will leave for a full-day game drive with packed lunch. The search for great wild animals continues. On the plains are large herds of herbivores grazing and cheetahs and leopards hiding in their locations. The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians, reptiles and over 400 bird species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is, for this reason, a visitor hardly misses seeing the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). The midday meals will be at the picnic Mara River migration point. Later you will return to the camp for dinner.

Day 3

You will have a pre-breakfast game drive to see animals hunting, killing and even eating until 9:30 am. Later you'll return to the camp for a heavy breakfast. You will then leave for the Maasai village if you wish so. We'll proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. After lunch, the afternoon game drive starts. On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic and game drives. The park is renowned as a bird sanctuary with over 400 bird species, including huge flocks of flamingos and many other water birds. It is an excellent park for wildlife spotting and is home to many water-loving animals such as hippos and waterbucks.

Day 4

This day, continue your journey to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake surrounded by lush scenery and rich birdlife. Here, unwind on a memorable boat ride across Lake Naivasha, offering a unique perspective of the lake, its wildlife, and the surrounding landscapes, with opportunities to spot hippos, waterbirds, and other fascinating wildlife along the shoreline.
