Pick up from Entebbe International Airport and drive to Lake Mburo NP. The drive through the Dry cattle corridor is rewarding with scenic beauty of rolling hills of Ankole. Visit the equator crossing point, enjoying the perfect view over the beautiful scenery, stop over en-route for lunch at the selected restaurant/hotel. Proceed to the Park for a game drive, in a network of game tracks providing you the chance to see a variety of savanna animals and birds. It is small park, at only 350 Km-sq compared to many East African Parks but, it is home to a surprisingly diversity of wildlife, with 69 mammal species, and 332 bird species. The number of the park’s herbivores are rarely if at all found elsewhere in Uganda and offers the best opportunity to see Elands, Topis, Zebras, Impalas, Waterbucks, Baboons, Bush-backs, Warthogs, Klipspringers, Giraffes in a mosaic ecosystems including rocky outcrops, savanna woodlands, swamps and Lakes. After, drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After the early morning breakfast, drive to the park for the best morning catch, with inviting Uganda’s sun shinning on your face you have a wild wonderland sprawled around you in every direction. Gifting you un-spoilt nature to explore and providing you with a panoramic view of this compact jewel in grassy ridges for the best famous for the iconic photo opportunities delivered by its hundreds of Zebras, Impalas, Buffalos, Topis, Elands, as they pose against the glorious back drop of the dry rolling hills with its wild and arid landscape rich in birds. After early morning breakfast, drive to the park for the guided nature walk. Meet the armed ranger guide who will take you for a walk through this scenic and engaging activity culminating in a visit to a natural salt lake where wildlife can be viewed from a timber observation tower (platform) which provides the panoramic view of the of Lake Mburo rich in animal viewing. Come close to nature by gifting you with unspoiled nature to explore with your experienced ranger guides by your side, gather at a watering hole and experience life kick into gear with the rising of the sun, enjoy Buffalos, Giraffes, Hippos, Elands, Topis, Impalas, Zebras on the foot. Afterwards, drive to Igongo Country Hotel for lunch. After lunch, visit the cultural museum, crafts-shop, cultural villages. Day 5

Transfer to Fort Portal

After breakfast, drive to Fort Portal and as you first enjoy the morning game drive around Kasenyi plains, the spectacular scenic view. On this second game drive, you may stand a chance to penetrate through the missed sightings of the previous day. After the game drive, proceed to Fort Portal. Enjoy the seventy two huge round basins scattered across the equator evidence of the Albertine Rift, bubbling volcanic past. Visit the Queen’s Pavilion, and faces in view of the enormous craters, circular lakes, the rift valley, the escarpment all in-front of the mighty backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains through Kasese town and Hima Cement Factory before reaching Fort Portal with stop overs for lunch in Kasese at selected restaurants/hotels and finally proceed to fort portal to Check in at the lodge late in the evening.

Drive to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive from Fort Portal is very long but rewarding through the ever green tea plantations route combined with spectacular landscape and views. Proceed to Hoima, via Kagadi for lunch at selected restaurants/hotels before proceeding to Murchison Falls National Park via Buliisa. This route is longer but more scenic and the memorable descent at the Rift Valley Escarpment with beautiful scenic views across Lake Albert towards the blue mountains of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Enjoy Bugungu wildlife Game reserve proceed and visit the top of Murchison and check in at the lodge late in the evening.

After early morning breakfast, drive to Bugungu community and cultural trail. Meet the local community members and have the journey of discovering the history, experience the cultural practices, belief and food which have unique tastes.
Visit the traditional organic fruits and cassava gardens, visit the traditional medicine man’s shrine, visit the traditional bee keeping project, learn how to harvest traditional natural organic honey and have a direct taste from the honey comb before proceeding for lunch at the selected Restaurant/Hotel. After lunch drive to Gulu town via one of the northern routes or gate through the diverse and most scenic road with dotted palm trees with rich and abundant animals through Pendero Woodland before reaching Wankwar gate and before connecting to Purongo. After early morning breakfast, drive to Kidepo Valley National Park via Kitgum. Kidepo valley National Park is 134 Kilometres from Kitgum town, and you drive through a very beautiful and scenic view. From Kitgum Town, the drive start at the roundabout on the eastern edge of Kitgum town’s Centre through Kitgum – Matidi – Namkora, Rom before crossing a mountain and descending to Karenga and the park’s Lokimoit gate. The drive through Karamoja and Rom Mountain is regarded as the most tremendous drama with savanna grasslands and area of rich cultural interest for the plains around the park is dotted with Napore – Nyungea range, the Morungule Mountains, and Mt. Lomej in south Sudan in the semi-arid climate. Enjoy the Karimojong homesteads commonly known as Manyattas, before driving to the park to check in the lodge late in the evening.
