Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your driver will be waiting to welcome you. After a brief introduction, you’ll take a scenic drive of less than an hour to your hotel in Arusha, where you’ll check in, relax, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2

Our guide will meet you at your hotel and give a short briefing before proceeding on with the safari to Arusha national park which is located close to Arusha town. In approximately 45 minutes, you will be at the gate and start your game viewing experiences right after registrations. This park is well known for its beautiful rain forests and acacia woodlands, the views of the Mt Meru and Kilimanjaro, Ngurdoto crater, largest populations of giraffes, elephants, African cape buffaloes, black and white colobus monkeys, turacos, trogons, zebras, wildebeests and large troops of baboons. You will take a short break for lunch before resuming your afternoon with both a game drive and a guided walking safari offering more intimate experience with nature as you explore around forest trails, open plains and around the Momella lakes, where you will spot large flocks of flamingos and blue monkeys along the lake shores. Afterward, you will be returned to your hotel for relaxations.

Day 3

Tarangire national park

Today, your driver will meet you at the hotel for your drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. You’ll see firsthand all that Tarangire National Park is known for – the famous baobab tree, tree climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants. After a picnic lunch, you’ll resume your afternoon game drive where you’ll encounter other animals such as lions, giraffes, and zebras before ending the evening with dinner at the lodge.

Farm visit in Karatu

Farm visit in Karatu

After breakfast you will drive to Ngila Estate, for coffee plantation tour. At the tour you will learn the initial coffee preparation and how it is cultivated, and also coffee processing and later have a chance to have a cup of coffee, then drive to Gibbs farm located on the Ngorongoro forest for hot lunch followed by a farm and explore 10 acres of fruit and vegetable gardens, 30 acres coffee and a cow farm where you will learn sustainable farming methods, then back to the hotel.

Day 5

Ngorongoro crater

Early pick-up from the hotel for a 3-hour drive to Ngorongoro main gate. En route to the crater, pass through a traditional Maasai village for a cultural visit. You'll be welcomed by the Maasai and get a close look at their handmade houses and traditional dances. Then descend into the crater for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Known as the 8th Wonder of the World, Ngorongoro Crater is a haven for diverse wildlife. Common sightings include elephants, wildebeest, zebras, black rhinos, gazelles, buffalos, hippos, lions, hyenas, jackals, serval cats, and over 400 bird species.

On this day, you’ll get up close and personal with one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites – the Ngorongoro conservation area. This unique multi-use site is one of the only in the world where man, livestock and wildlife live together in harmony. You will continue towards the Serengeti, enjoying a lovely scenic drive with views of the Ngorongoro conservation area. You’ll continue on your drive with game viewing en route before arriving at the camp for dinner and rest.

You have a full day of excursions in the Serengeti today enjoying morning and afternoon game drives from the camp. The centre of the Serengeti, called Seronera, is a network of rivers that ensure dependable water supplies attracting wildlife throughout the year. It is here that you’ll have your best opportunity to spot the “Big Five”: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino, and the leopard. There will be no shortage of animal sightings as the presence of permanent mud pools and shade attract giraffes, impalas, warthogs, and hippos. You might also catch a glimpse of cheetahs, hyenas and jackals. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
