Depending on your flight arrival at Entebbe International Airport (EBB) in Kampala, or if you are already staying the night before in Kampala, Mambo Gorilla Safaris will set out as early as is convenient for you. However, please note that the travel to Murchison Falls National Park will take about four to five hours. This means that if you leave early in the morning, there will be a good chance for you to have an afternoon picnic at the top of the falls. The later you depart, the later you will arrive.

You will be driven toward the northwest route via Masindi town where you will have lunch. You will pass by the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary along the way. The sanctuary has fifteen resident southern white rhinos, and it is the only place in Uganda where there are still wild rhinos.
