Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from Nairobi at 7:30am by our driver and transferred to Wilson Airport for your flight to Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara National Reserve is considered by many to be the jewel and highlight of any Kenyan safari. This is mainly because of its abundance of game and the fact that it supports one of Africa's highest concentrations of predators. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to the camp for lunch. You will have time to familiarize yourself with the new environment before embarking on an evening game drive. Your dinner, entertainment, and overnight stay will be at Eagle View Camp, inside Naboisho Conservancy.

Mara Naboisho Conservancy

You spend the morning and afternoon on game drives to see the great predators and explore the conservancy's amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals, plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. An optional guided walking safari will be available in the afternoon if the weather allows. In the evening, you will go on a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Eagle View.

Full Day game drive at Masai Mara National Reserve

After a hearty buffet breakfast at the camp, you will embark on a game-viewing drive searching for wild animals. Next, you will drive to the famous Mara River in search of hippos and crocodiles. It is here at the Mara River where the great annual wildebeest migration takes place between July and September. The animals migrate from the Serengeti plains to the Masai Mara National Reserve in search of green pasture and have to cross the Mara River. This spectacular event is one of the world's seven new wonders. En route, you will also see the Kenya-Tanzania border that marks one side of the Mara Triangle. Finally, you will have lunch in the park and proceed on a game drive in search of animals that have yet to be seen. Dinner, entertainment, and your overnight stay are at Basecamp.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

After a hearty breakfast, we will transfer you to the airstrip and bid Masai Mara “Kwaheri” goodbye as you proceed to Nairobi. Upon arriving in Nairobi, you will be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi or dropped at the airport for your outbound flight—this marks the end of our safari.
