Early in the morning at 5:30 am, you'll be picked-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and drive to Mikumi National Park. The journey will take about 6 hours through the most unexplored and untouched areas of Tanzania. After arriving, you'll check in and have lunch before driving for an evening game drive inside the park. Animals commonly found here include lions, elands, hartebeests, buffalos, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, hippos and elephants. Your accommodation inside the park will give you a chance to explore animals behaviors at the night. Dinner and your overnight will be at Mikumi Park Cottage.

Day 2
Mikumi National Park then Udzungwa/Sanje Waterfalls

Before breakfast at 6:00 am, start an amazing morning game drive, the best time when most killings happens. Take a game drive until 8:40 am then you will go for breakfast. After breakfast, you will start a safari of 40 minutes to Udzungwa at Sanje Waterfall which is the highest waterfall in Tanzania. You can swim in the natural pool (remember your swim wear).
Upon arrival, you will meet our guide who will accompany you on the hiking tour; enjoy the spectacular view of Sanje Waterfall while enjoying a picnic lunch.
After your hiking tour, you will descend the mountains and get back to Mikumi to have an accommodation at Camp Bastian.

Day 3
Safari from Mikumi to Nyerere National Park

Before breakfast at 06:30 am, you'll go for a Maasai culture tour, learn their traditions and customs. You'll then go back to the camp for breakfast. After a morning breakfast at 8:30 am, drive to Nyerere National Park taking 7 to 8 hours. You will have a picnic lunch on the way while enjoying a drive through the most unexplored and untouched areas of Tanzania. Meals and your overnight stay will be offered at Selous Jimbiza Camp.

Day 4

Have breakfast in your accommodation followed by full day game drive in the park. Nyerere National Park is a home to large population of elephants, big number of buffalos and wild dogs. Other species commonly seen are lion, bush buck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, kudu plus other animals likely to exist in this great park.
In the mid afternoon, embark on boat safari across the great Rufiji River where you'll find hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Selous Jimbiza Camp.

Day 5
Walking Tour and a Safari to Dar es Salaam
Walking Tour and a Safari to Dar es Salaam
Before breakfast, you will have a walking safari with a bushman. A bushman will explain to you about different animals and plants found around the great Nyerere National Park. The walk starts at around 6:00-6:30 am with a walk of 2-3 hours. After a walk, you'll have a breakfast and a drive to Dar es Salaam for further schedules as per your plans.
