Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport at an agreed-upon time in the morning. You'll arrive in the office for a briefing about your amazing safari by your professional driver-guide. Depart from Nairobi, driving northwest of the capital city to the famous Masai Mara. You will arrive at the view of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. You can take beautiful pictures of the escarpment and buy beaded jewellery at the crafts shop.

You will stop for lunch in Narok town, then proceed to Masai Mara. Arrive, check in at your camp or lodge, and proceed for an evening game drive. You will view a wide range of wildlife, especially the big mammals. Later in the evening, return to your camp for a well-prepared dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Today’s itinerary is flexible, depending on your time agreement with your driver-guide. After breakfast, proceed for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. View the rich tree-studded savannah grassland and enjoy seeing over 450 species of wildlife and great herds of wildebeests and zebras. You will have the chance to see the Big 5 animals roaming around the reserve and take memorable photographs. You will have lunch at the Mara River, viewing the hippo pool. This is where the great wildebeest migration occurs.

Proceed for the afternoon game drive and experience the beautiful sunset. You can also opt to visit the Maasai village and immerse yourself in authentic Maasai culture. Enjoy a lively cultural dance, vibrant clothing and beautifully crafted handiwork. Drive back to freshen up for dinner and an overnight stay at your camp.

After breakfast, proceed for a game drive in this scenic park, which is spectacular for bird watching and a rhino sanctuary. You will also see the great flocks of pink flamingoes at the lakeshores from the Baboon Cliff. Rhinos, as well as predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards, will also be seen, as will many other species.

Later, proceed to Amboseli National Park with a packed lunch. You will arrive at the park in the evening. Check in, freshen up and be ready for a well-prepared dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

After breakfast, you will have a full-day game drive in this park, which has swampy grounds where elephants and hippos swim. The park commands a panoramic view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa. It also has an endless underground water supply filtered through thousands of volcanic rocks.

On this day, you can opt to visit the Maasai village in Amboseli and interact with the people, enjoying lively cultural dances. Then, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Then, drive back to your camp for breakfast before you continue to Nairobi with an en-route lunch. You'll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
