Day 1

Early in the morning you will be picked from your hotel and drive from Arusha town to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire has the highest population density of elephants of any park in the northern circuit of Tanzania. It is also home to over 550 varieties of birds, including the heaviest flying bird native to Africa, the Kori bustard. During the dry season, Tarangire’s animal population includes lions, leopards, cheetah, hyena and numbers of grazers. Tree climbing pythons can also be spotted here. Overall, the scattered vegetation covered with baobab and acacia trees makes this park a beautiful and distinctive attraction to visit.

After a full day game drive and midday picnic lunch, you will return to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha.
